Fine Art to Fabrication

This project involved taking inspiration from a painting at the MET and designing a sterling silver ring based on the artwork. The painting that served as inspiration was Mary Cassatt's portrait of Mary Dickinson Riddle. The design was based on the blue pottery in the painting and the overall simplicity of the artwork. Although there were some issues during the creation process, the final product is a unique and beautiful ring.
