Riwaayat aka tradition

Born and brought up in a small town called Ranthambore, my family has a rich background of culture and heritage. Everyone my age was made to cherish what the ancestors passed onto them whereas I was brought up very differently. While everyone had the chance to connect and find solace in their culture, I very unconsciously found peace in art. I never felt like I was missing out and yet when I had the opportunity of being a part of this project, the first thought that came into my mind was... 

'This is the time for me to connect with my culture and my heritage. This is the perfect opportunity for me to finally be close to what is meant to be a part of me for years to come'

In this film project, I wanted to showcase the beauty and richness of Rajput traditions and culture through fashion. I filmed the video in Udaipur, carefully selecting locations and clothing to represent the unique aspects of the culture.

Key Features:

• Gained a deeper understanding of my cultural heritage and how it can be represented through art and fashion.

• Developed skills in location scouting and selecting appropriate settings for a video shoot.

• Improved my video editing skills through the use of Premier Pro.
